Russia launched one of its largest aerial assaults since the start of the war overnight, firing 496 drones and 74 missiles at Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine. At least 21 people were killed and more than 90 injured as residential buildings and civilian infrastructure suffered widespread damage. Rescue operations remain underway as authorities search for survivors beneath the rubble.
